Looking back at 2023 and looking ahead to 2024
As usual, in December the Talent Acquistion Team takes stock of the past year. It was another year with many challenges and great moments. We list our five favourite highlights.
1. The TAO team has no fewer than five colleagues!
The growth of the A-team also translates into the growth of the TAO-Team. This year, we were able to welcome as many as three new colleagues:
Hanse Portael, based in the Mechelen office, is putting her efforts into finding experienced project associates.
Elien Luypaert recently joined our team as HRBP and manages the TAO team from the Mechelen office.
Mandy van der Meijden watches over Talent Acquisition in the Netherlands as HR Business Partner.
With this team, we are ready to take on many recruitment challenges!
2. The A-Team continues to grow in Belgium and the Netherlands.
This year, we were pleased to welcome many new employees to Advipro. No fewer than 50 new colleagues from Belgium and the Netherlands joined the A-Team. It is a nice mix of juniors and experienced profiles. Currently, Advipro has a total of 180 colleagues. That's a lot of project engineers to properly supervise at our customers' sites.
3. Company visit Biomedical sciences students UHasselt
On Wednesday 18 October 2023, the Lille headquarters was buzzing with activity. We had no less than 70 master students from UHasselt visiting us that day. They were immersed in "Good Manufacturing Practices", given a tour of the office and met some alumni who recently started as Junior Project Engineer. In short, a well-filled programme.
4. Thank you to all ambassadors!
Last year, Advipro participated in approximately 30 recruitment events in Belgium and the Netherlands.
No better ambassador than our own employee!
For example, colleagues from Advipro Netherlands participated in the annual job fairs and lunch lectures for TU Eindhoven, Wageningen University & Research and Radboud University Nijmegen.
In Belgium, the exhibition stand was set up several times in Antwerp, Brussels, Ghent and Leuven. From their personal experiences, employees told about their (learning) journey at Advipro and the customer. Mission more than accomplished thanks to all ambassadors!
5. Webinar "Launch your career in life sciences"
On Tuesday 28 March 2023, as many as 100 students participated in our GMP Webinar "Launch your career in life sciences". For the 4th year in a row, colleague and Senior Business Manager Yves Van den Wyagaert introduced students to the how and why of the quality management system behind drug development, production and distribution. A fascinating insight if you are considering project work.

What does 2024 have in store?
- In January, we welcome several new colleagues again.
- The Advipro sales team is taking shape.
- We continue to look for (experienced) scientific and technical talent in Belgium and the Netherlands.
- The job fair season starts in February.
- On 26 March, we will again launch our GMP Webinar "Launch your career in life sciences".
